Floyd Gaetz
President and CEO
Floyd Gaetz is a native of Nova Scotia. A natural entrepreneur, business planner and leader, Floyd has spent his 30 year career in a wide variety of industries and roles. Throughout his career, he has been crucial to each business’s success by defining innovative corporate marketing strategies, reengineering business systems, initiating product development and defining sales and distribution channel management. Floyd’s guidance has continually fostered enhanced growth and efficiencies for the companies he has directed.
His most recent professional pursuits have been the businesses he owns and operates, which today include, AML Communications Inc., AML Security Inc., and Umbian Inc. For the last 20 years, Floyd’s main focus has been with AML Communications, a Rogers Authorized Dealer, where he continues to serve as President and CEO of its 30+ locations throughout Atlantic Canada and Ontario.
In his career, Floyd has been bestowed a variety of honors, including being named the 2003 Truro Business Person of the Year, one of the Top 50 CEO’s in Atlantic Canada in 2007, and the 2008 Halifax Business Person of the Year. Floyd also serves as a charter member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Cornerbrook, NFLD, President of Truro Chamber of Commerce, and Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame. In addition, he is an avid volunteer for several charities and non-profit organizations.
Nancy Floyd
Chief Financial Officer
Nancy Floyd is a native of New Brunswick. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. She is a highly accomplished Certified General Accountant with significant experience performing senior positions, such as Controller and Operations Manager for large, international corporations. A leader of people, processes and change, Nancy is results driven with proven success in project management, lean processing and financial examination.
Throughout her 34 year career, Nancy has provided leadership to a variety of companies and industries, with heavy focuses in operational issues including operating expenses, cash flow analysis, controls and procedures implementation, budgeting, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, equipment and facility maintenance, customer service and Department of Transportation regulations. She has also successfully led the implementation of numerous Information Technology projects. Most recently, Nancy joined Umbian, Inc., a technology solutions and consulting company, as its Chief Financial Officer.
Michelle Amiro
Vice President and General Manager – Atlantic
Michelle Amiro joined AML Communications in 2006. She brought over 15 years of business leadership and growth in entrepreneurial companies. She has a solid track record in helping companies develop and implement people strategies and sales processes that improve business performance and generate bottom line impact.
She is a high-energy and innovative executive with a broad knowledge of technology, customer service, sales, marketing and financial management. Throughout her career, Ms. Amiro has worked in a range of industries including software development, human resource consulting, product manufacturing, and retail.
People are her passion. Ms. Amiro works tirelessly with all levels in the organization to help each employee realize their personal and company-wide goals, as well as, building and fostering relationships with customers, partners and suppliers.
Ms. Amiro received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and an MBA from Dalhousie University.
Scott Grover
Vice President and General Manager - Ontario
Dedication to the overall success of AML Communications Inc. has driven Scott throughout his fifteen plus years of service. Scott is a native of Nova Scotia and has spent his entire 22 year career in the wireless industry. He is an integral part of the AML team, personally having overseen the growth of AML’s corporate team from a single consultant to a large team of sales and support staff.
Scott is known for his detail oriented thinking and his true leadership style. An excellent coach in all areas of sales and customer service, Scott is highly respected by his team as well as his colleagues. Throughout his career Scott has always placed a strong emphasis on developing and maintaining relationships knowing that these two factors lead to both successful customer relationships and staff retention.
Scott currently oversees all day to day operations for AML Communications Ontario retail locations.
Jason Snowden
Senior Director Corporate Sales - Ontario
Jason Snowden is a dynamic senior sales leader with over 13 years of progressive Account and Sales Team Management experience focused on Wireless communications solutions. He has provided leadership and direction to field sales teams with a focus on understanding the goals of his customers, helping to solve their problems and providing solutions that help them do what they do better. Jason is comfortable working and negotiation at all levels of any organization and prides himself on finding a way to make people and organizations successful.
Prior to working with AML, Jason was the Director of B2B Sales for Rogers Wireless where he led the B2B sales efforts for Southwest Ontario. Jason is responsible for taking the existing AML Communications B2B business to the next level in Ontario.
Born in Brampton Ontario, Jason makes his home in London Ontario where he spent most of his formative years. Jason received his undergraduate degree from the University of Windsor where his was an active member of the school’s rugby team and has completed the Richard Ivey School of Business Leadership Development course in 2009.
Shane Crawford
Director of Corporate Sales - Atlantic
A proven leader for staff in the areas of Sales, Marketing and all IT formats. Shane is known for his detail oriented thinking and his true leadership style, and believes that building long lasting relationships is the key ingredient to successful business. Shane’s educational background includes Application Programming from Eastern Business Computer Institute, as well as Network & Communications Technology from CompuCollege School of Business, both of which have complimented his career progression in the Wireless Communications industry.
Shane has over 12 years experience at AML Communications Inc. Starting with retail sales in 1998, Shane progressed to Store Manager, Marketing Manager, District Sales Manager, and most recently was promoted to Director of Corporate Sales for Atlantic Canada, now leading AML's Outbound sales and administrative team in Atlantic Canada.
